Our venues

Main Hall

The Main Hall can be rented for birthday parties, showers, memorial services, fundraising events, meetings, socials, and wedding receptions.
Use of the hall includes access to our kitchen unless otherwise stated.
The space is about 2700 sq. ft. with a guest capacity of 200. Seating at a social is between 170-180 with room for a dance floor and raffle.
Ground level, air-conditioning, wheelchair friendly, with accessible washrooms.
Skate Room

The Skate Room is the area between the main hall and the dressing rooms. This room is functional for small meetings. We hold team meetings, board meetings, AGMs, and smaller seminars. The room is rated for 64 guests (standing); seats about 36 for a meeting and head table. No alcohol is allowed unless this area is rented along with the main hall for a social. There is no access to the kitchen.
Ground level, air-conditioning, wheelchair friendly, with accessible washroom.
ODRs (Outdoor Rinks)

Rink 1 is closest to the parking lot and is used in the winter as a large public skating rink.
Rinks 2 and 3 are fully enclosed. They are used for ice hockey practices and sponge hockey games in the winter as well as for public use when not booked.
Rinks 2 & 3 are available to book, including access to change rooms inside.
Rink 3 is used as an off-leash dog park in the summer months.
Fields

We provide soccer fields on site at Civic Park as well as off-site. For our current mapping of available fields, please see our Soccer page.
Softball/Hardball Diamonds

Our baseball diamonds have fresh fencing and boundaries installed in 2023 with financial support from the Government of Manitoba Sustainable Communities funding.
Diamond 1 is closest to the middle school.
Diamond 2 is closest to River East Collegiate and the Terry Sawchuk parking lot.
The Shane Fox Memorial Field is the largest diamond closest to Terry Sawchuk arena. It is used by our 15U and older teams.
Splash Pad

The splash pad is not available to rent. However, in JUNE it is used by local schools for large weekday field trips. For school inquiries and coordination of the scheduling, please contact BEG@retsd.mb.ca
