Valley Gardens 50th Anniversary
Valley Gardens Middle School celebrates 50 years in the community for the 2025-2026 school year and will be hosting an open house event this evening in conjunction with VGCC.
Valley Gardens Community Centre will also set up a display of memorabilia to celebrate our shared history in the community. Plans are still developing for both this event and a community celebration at VGCC in 2026 (as our building formally opened a few months after the school, at the start of 1976).
We welcome any content that you may wish to share in celebration.

VGCC will be hosting our own 50th anniversary event in 2026 and are seeking volunteers to help plan and volunteer at the event.

Family Fun Day!
Save the Date for our annual Family Fun and Community Day. This year we are working in partnership with Valley Gardens Community Connections (a program at the middle school).
Shop our mini market, filled with whimsical makers, and discover community resources!
Free family fun games will be available such as jumbo Jenga, cornhole, bocce ball, and ladder ball!
Enjoy delicious hot dogs or burgers for purchase from Bud's Burgers and Dogs!
Large bouncers from VK jumps, face painters, and balloon artists will be on site from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm!
Timbits Soccer Jamboree will start at 10:00 am!
Tickets will be available for our Spruce it Up draw, tickets are $15 with funds going to support our outdoor basketball court project!
