New this year: Pumpkin bin
For all our regular pumpkin-composters (THANK YOU) who are accustomed to dropping their jack-o-lanterns in front of the school in the days following Halloween - please note that a new system has been set up by Compost Winnipeg.
There is now a large green bin at the front of the parking lot - you really can’t miss it! - for your used pumpkins!
Where to put your pumpkins.
No pumpkins in the smaller compost bins - those are regularly filled with other compost and pumpkins take up too much space. If you miss the big bin week, you can also drop at the 4R centre on Panet.
